So I bought a pair of Slim Line fans sued from a member. They were off a 1g and they are goin into a 2g.

I searched the forums, and found for successful cooling I have to hook them up to a relay. I am a little dumb. I know relay is an eclectrical thing, where do I get a relay. How do I do it? After that I hook them up and Where do i relay them too? How Do I make sure they run all the time when the car runs?

I don't have the car in front of me. Its at my friend's where we have been working on it. The Fans Look smaller compared to stock, or maybe its just the housing that incases them is smaller. Said That i can use metal strips or Zipties to mount them. I am thinking of metal strips. Cooling is a important part of a DSM not crapping out on you, How many Metal brackets? What kind should I ask for at home depot? What do I use as a reference point when mounting them?

If there is anything I should know about please add in for me.

Thanks,

Jason

Its really simple...first the fans have a black and blue wire. So find the wires that go to the stock fan (they too will be black and blue) just attatch them accordingly black with black and blue with blue and solder them...as far as the mounting of the fans you can do it like this: get long zip ties and plastic washers that the head of the zip tie will not go through the hole. place your fans in the position you want them and run the zip tie through washer and throught the mounting bracket of the fan and put another zip tie on the end of that. (take in accoun that you will need to trim that one all the way to the head of the zip tie.)
