I just got my car running but when I turn it off the SAFC stays on. I am going to check the wiring but is there any way I could wire the power to a switched power wire instead?

Did you wire it yourself? theres a real easy site on here for the wireing id say go behind your ECU and check every wire with the web page... if everything on the SAFC is working it may just be the acc wire that turns off when the car turns off (like the wire in the radio that shuts off the radio)
Ill try to find that site is with the colors of wires going where...
Brad :)

Its wired correctly it just wont turn off. Can I wire it to a switched 12 volt line or does it have to be current?

If it was wired correctly it would be attached to a switched power source. The same one that feeds the ECU. So if the SAFC isn't turning off the ECU wouldn't be either.

It is wired exactly as per VFAQ. I switched the power to the cigarette lighter and it shut off but none of the high/low settings would save:confused: Any suggestions? Could the AFC be bad?
