I searched V Faq but i may have typed it in wrong. All i got was fuel pump stuff. Anything helps...How do you removed and install a new oil pump? how long does it take? keep in mind the motor is still in my car. its a 91 talon tsi fwd. Thanks :thumb:

As far as removing it and replacing it, get a haynes manual that would be the best place to start. You have to take off the compleate front end of the motor. Timing belt, crank gear, ect.. also the oil pan to get at the pump. If you take your time and dont rush yourself you should be ok.

Time will vary . Experience with cars , problems , wrong tools , etc.... Plan a weekend , get all parts ahead of time . Look into balance shaft removal . Replace all timing components . http://vfaq.com/FAQlocator-engine.html
