I need the whole upper strut bushing set. I don't need the bump stops but the rubber bushing that has the metal sleave that runs through two of the rubber pieces, the rubber pillow mount bushing and then the top rubber bushing.

Can I find these at advanced/autozone or is it a Dealer deal only? If so could someone please tell me the parts numbers?

Here is the Mitsubishi part numbers I came up with for strut bushings for a 1998 GST in CAPS:

Front upper bushing - MB910802 (will need 2)
Rear upper bushing - MB242358 (will need 2)
Front & rear lower bushing - MB338618 (will need 4)

Just to verify, you are talking about the rubber bushings on the strut, not the control arms, correct?

The bushing above the actual strut mount/plate, the washer that goes on top of it, the bushing directly below the plate, and the metal sleeve are collectively called the "strut mount." They are the same at all four corners.

2bclutch - excellent diagram and very helpful. I was having a hard time trying to figure out how to include a copy of the diagram from CAPS into my post.

my98GST - look at the link that 2bclutch posted. If the parts you are looking for are #6 & #11, the part numbers I posted above are what you need. If you need additional parts from that diagram, give me the number and I will look up the Mitsubishi part numbers in CAPS for those also.
