transmission rebuild northeast ohio

My transmission is going bad the 1-2 syncro is almost gone i cant shift into 1st unless i go to 2nd first, and i have to have the clutch down for a while before i can shift into 2nd from first. I have been seaching for some one to rebuild my transmission i live in mentor which is on the east side of cleveland. I have been talking to shep transmission in canton they told me 1200 to take it out, stage 1 rebuild, and put in my new clutch and flywheel. i was wondering if anyone know where i could get a cheaper rebuild but still with good quality. also i am not a newb to cars, tuning, and modding but i am new to dsms. So your getting your stage 1 rebuild for 1200 bucks from the best dsm tranny shop and you want to shop around? I would say just spend the money and you will not be dissapointed. I'm not sure if you have been to either of his websites but I would check them out if you haven't.
