I have narrowed down my turbo options to 2 choices. The FP3575 or borg warner s300. Any one have any experience with the s300?

do you have supporting mods? If not, you are very far away from being able to use either one of those turbos.

You either need to update this or follow the great tuner guide.

I have a hybrid S200/S300 myself. It's big and needs plenty of mods to be used to the fullest. I am working on the build up myself still.

That will be one insane ride for either of those turbos. I would def upgrade alot of stuff before strapping one of those on. Good luck.

I think you should test one out for the community. From what ive seen from them they are fast spooling reliable big boost turbos.

i know several shops have been putting the S300's on Supras and having amazing results. The S300 on paper looks amazing and i think it will do great with the proper housing and mods.

let us know if you go forward with it.

I would like to use a bolt on housing for now. I have seen info and dyno charts on hondas and supras but would like info on a dsm or evo.

All I am concerned about learning about these BW's are how the spool up is on them. I wanna know if they can rival BB turbos as far as spool up. I am currently wanting the new GT4094R which is ball bearing and rated for 850, or I could get the Borg Warner s366 which is rated for 650-800. If I was to get the BW, I could save like 400-500 dollars, but since both turbos are so big I am wanting the one with the best spool up. I hear that the Borg Warners can spool pretty well, due to the design, but I am wanting some "for sure" answers! . Someone needs to test one quick and let me know if it spools like a BB. PLEASE!!!

I got an email I will post later,

its asking bullseye/borgW about if they will ever make a BB extended tip.
because people say it rivals spool up and all, why not combine them?

is this wheel/housing compatable with any CHRA that has BB?
even if some machining would be needed, it would well be worth it!

btw, they said they will never make a BB turbo

Thumbs down

this is from sales@bullseyepower.com
===============

BorgWarner will never make a ball bearing turbo, those were only developed
to fix turbo failures for UPS and FedEx delivery drivers since they are
required to shut off their trucks at every delivery. Most drivers have more
than a 100 stops and this eventually causes turbo failure in conventional
bearing turbos. So unless you make 100 deliveries in your DSM every day you
don’t really need a bearing upgrade.

================

I cant believe they dont understand how some people want a badass turbo, their loss.
Now Im just waiting for someone else to copy them and come out with something better!
