Fidanza Clutch

Well, I got the car back on Friday and I must say so far this is the nicest clutch setup I have ever drove. I am half way through the 1000 miles I am going to put on the clutch before I think it is broke in. Fidanza says that you only need to put on 500 miles but I am going to stay on the safe side and put on the 1000 miles.

I also found out that my ACT 2600 did not fail but it was my throw out bearing that I got with the kit. I still put on the Fidanza setup but now have a ACT setup here with only around 5000 miles on it.

Same happen with my ACT 2600, the thrown out that came in the kit was bad. After less than 10,000 miles it totally destructed my flywheel, disc, and pressure plate. So I purchased a Fidanza 4.3 and as far as I know I for now am not going back ACT.

By the way, the torque rating for Fidanza clutch kit are 20% less than what they listed. Statistically the 4.3 list as 465 ft-lbs. is 580 ft-lbs. If it works out I'm going stay with Fidanza.

If you're interested, http://www.fasterthanthem.com is by far the cheapest Fidanza dealer.

I'm trying to comparison shop for the Fidanza 4.3 kit, and fasterthanthem.com doesn't have them in stock (for DSMs). All they carry is ACT and Centerforce
