What is this little box? Its not on the "Virtual Tour of a DSM Engine Bay" http://members.shaw.ca/dsm.1000q/Engineprimer/ site.

If I'm not mistaken, I do beleive that box is what controls your cruise control.

yes it is the cruse control box on a 90. the 90s had them there instead of on the fire walls like the 91+ cars.. but as we all know the 90 cars are kind of all backwards anyways.

My cruise control does not work as it is. How would I go of moving it or competely getting rid of it, it's just a big ugly rusty box? Kind of pisses me off.

you need to buy the non cruise control throttle cable. i think RRE (road race engineering) sells it for 40 bucks.

Actually, I'm glad you pointed it out. I woulda been like, "how in the hell are those guys able to ID a part without seeing it? they must be good!"

I don't see why not. I have seen people go as far as to cut their cruise cable down the the length needed and attach it directly to the throttle body.

I wouldn't recommend cutting your throttle cable as some people have before but the throttle cable for the 1g NT 2.0 will be the same and you can easily use it.
