1G-specific 2g maf or 3" gm maf w/ DSM LINK

What are your guys opinions ive been told that the 2g compensates for climate changes and the gm has to be adjusted for weather changes? which would be better to run? this is not my daily driver more like a weekend warrior!

I have never heard that, who told you this? Just because I have never heard it does not mean that it is not true. With that kind of equipment, I would use the GM MAF. SMIM?

I like mine a lot. The only somewhat downside is that you have to calibrate the MAF when using a GM maf. If you use a 2G maf you just plug and go. The calibrating isn't that hard but it is an extra step that can take some time and you may need extra equipment depending on what you already have. The prefered methond for a 1G is with a wideband so if you don't have one then you would need to buy a MAP sensor instead. Again, not really a big deal but something I didn't know when I got mine.

SMIM= Sheet Metal Intake Manifold.

I don't know if it will run with DSMLink but my 3gMAS (#482 from v6) is very quickly responsive to temp changes and the like and you can use the same intake piping as you do with the 1gMAS.
