its a gamble with these turbos you never know what kind of quality that one is going to be. some people have had theirs fall apart but some have run theirs for awhile perfectly. i know a few people with them. people bash on them real hard cause they dont have the best reputation but alot of people who have them wont say so cause they know theyll get dissed.

This has been asked 1000 times and usually the ansewer is you get what you pay for. I would pay $80 more and get the true MHI EVOIII 16G. Absolutely proven itself as a very good turbo.

Mmmm, Last owner of my car had one... It lasted around the block. Yes, One city block, Driven around the block, The turbo was shot. Ok, Sent back, Installed the new one they sent for free... Then, I buy the car.. Time to upgrade the turbo not even a month later, Check for shaft play... It was the most shaft play I had EVER felt. The compressor wheel literally came right out of the housing.

If that was actually a true MHI 16g turbo, then yes that would be a great deal. But like the old saying goes you get what you pay for. That isn't even the "GT" version of a 16g turbo, that is another copy. Personally I would save up abit more & get something I know isn't goning to crap out way to soon. Even the boost controller is a knock off
