Photo of AN fitting on fuel line

I saw a photo of a AN fitting setup on the fuel pump line. If anyone has done this and has a photo or knows where I can find it in a thread let me know.

I just got done doing that exact operation, from memory. I've seen the article in question, and winged it from there. Unfortunately I don't have a digi. camera or any pictures, nor could I find the article again, but it is fresh in my memory, if you have any questions. Here is a list of parts:

bulkhead fitting and nut w/2 nylon washers
push-lock fitting and hose (about 3", trim to fit)
90* elbow female/ female
male to male adapter (if you haven't assembled your ss hose yet, you can just get a 90* hose end. I had already assembled a straight fitting)
two hose clamps for the fuel pump, 1 for where the push-lock hose goes on the pump.

Cut off the steel line and drill a .562 (9/16)" hole in the same spot the tube came out through. I"m not good at describing how it goes together, but if you run into a bind I may be able to walk you through it if need be. Good luck! mine works great

Naw..Someone had a pic of the AN fittings right off the fuel pump line (the one that breaks). I have SS line already. It was connected directly to the stock line but it had a kink and twist to it. It looked liked it was restricting flow so I tried to straighten it as much as I could. I knew it would break and I'd have to replace the sending unit or rig up something else. Thanks anyway.

So let me see if i got this figured out right.
The bulkhead fitting goes on the plate that is bolted to the tank, then you have a 90* fitting coming off that to the SS hose, then a straight fitting which screws into the existing line?
How does it hook up to the fuel pump itself?

In my car the 90* bend will have a male end that my SS -6 fuel line will connect to. The female end of the 90* will connect to the bulkhead. I think he mentioned above having a push lock connector. I'm assuming that has a -6 female end that'll connect to the other end of the bulkhead. Then you'd use hose and clamps between the push lock connector and the fuel pump. If I have this wrong someone let me know.

Yes, I believe you are on the right track, the 90 can be a AN to -6 ss hose fitting, I would have done it that way, IF I hadn't already had a straight fitting assembled on the hose. Using a -6 adapter between that and the 90* AN to AN elbow was easier than reinstalling a 90 hose fitting, as well you can imagine. None of this uses ANY of the existing line, (the stock line, if that is what you meant, if not I'm just clarifying). Otherwise, yes & yes. Malcvr4, You are correct, straight push lock to -6 an on the bottom of the bulkhead fitting, with the aforementioned short piece of high pressure hose, clamped directly to the plastic nipple on the pump, throw out all the little plastic and rubber thingies, you don't need them anymore. I don't know what fitting is on a Walbro since I am using a 3kgt pump I got free, (which installs exactly like a stocker, but flows, according to a test on RRE's website, 180 lph @ 12 v. A Walbro 190 only hits 168 @ 12.5, 205 @ 14v ) Then clamp your pump to the mount, & yer off to the races!

I just went through all his postings & couldn't find it. I also just re-searched the fuel system tech articles, which is where I thought I had seen it originally, to no avail.

Dave99gst, is that a pressure transducer in you pic?
