Holset Q,s not in Holset thread

Ive been reasearching the Hx-35 and HX-40, the tech data I have shows the HX-40 flow as 640 cfm at 30 psi. Now 640 CFM is 50.3 lb.min airflow, keep in mind at 30 psi. So how is it people make 500 h.p. at 20 psi? Im upgrading from the T3T4 and was looking at a 62-1 but have been eyeballing the Holset. Any additional info would be helpful.
