SS Autochrome

OK...so i ordered a O2 housing from SS Autochrome and figured i could reweld it if it was cheap. The order for on the website gave room for a shipping and billing adress. They sent me confirmation of where it was to be shipped. 2 days later FedEx sent me a confirm letter with the wrong address. I asked SS to fix this and they said that the form they use states they only ship to billing addresses. The one online does not but they didnt seem to care. I asked them for a partial shipping refund due to the serious delay in getting my part. Here is what they wrote back:
Well I apologize I didnt realize you didnt use that checkout page.

Regardless there is nothing we can do. It is CC policy that it be
shipped to billing address.

All we can do now is wait for it to come back and then reship it.

There is no need to get nasty and threaten us. And our customer service
is not bad. I was not nasty to
you I told you the problem. God! I tell you what, how bout this...if
your so determined to think our
products are cheap before you even get them I will keep the items when
they come back and refund you!

I will not do business with a BLOW HARD!!!

ya those ssautochrome guys have really bad costumer service and relations, almost as bad as there product but just get your money back and purchase your o2 from somewhere else theres alot to choose from.

ss autochrome is the worst company for dsm's that ive heard of, except for those companies that just flat out dont send you the product you ordered... but they have the worst quality in the world...

Not to be an ass. I know that they aren't the best and they have like 4 different names but, most on line companies have that policy where they only ship to the billing address. You should of known that. I make sure i read all companies policy's before i buy from them.

I would so have to agree. SSAUTOCHROME sucks!!! I bought a fmic from them worst thing i ever did. The dementions stated in the add didnt even match up when i recieved it and they wont respond to my emails. I should have just known better then to purchase such a cheap intercooler. Oh well live and learn. Luckly it was cheap.

Isnt it funny how everybody says not to be an ass just before they are an ass? Well if you go to their website and "add to cart" any of the products it will have a shipping adress and billing address. If they are to be the same thing then why have both? I have purchased PLENTY of things online and used 2 different address.
I wrote them that if they did not give me a partial refund on the shipping charges i would post on here, and the All Trac board as well as i few others i go, another post on how bad their company is. You can call me stupid and say i'm not telling the whole truth, but i really dont care, i know what went down. Just figured i'd give some people who dont know about every part from every company a heads up. I know these DSM's have been around a while, but I havent had mine for very long and there are SOOOOO many parts and companies out there, good and bad. We all make mistakes, and i made one in dealing with SS Autochrome.
So, not to be an ass. Just be an ass and proud of it.
