Scarborough,
Just wondering how important is that air meter wire. If it comes lose will my car not detect the right air to fuel mixture and the car would bog and run really rich when trying to build boost? WOuld it act like a huge boost leak where your car would try to build boost than puffs it out and the car just shoots out black smoke? Thanks guys

Your best bet is to make sure it doesn't come loose, then you don't have to worry about it. But other than that I don't know, probably depends if the loose wire grounds to the chasis or a "hot spot" I'm sure if it grounded it would probably send you SAFC some mixed signals which could result in rich/lean whatever. I'll see whatelse I can find out and let you know.

Speaking from experience:

Besides a Check Engine light, you will not be able to rev much past a high idle. You
may be able to creep along in first gear, but by no stretch will your car be driveable.

If you're wondering if your wiring connection is "good enough", the fact that you even
asked the question should give you your answer. Make sure all connections are nice
and tight.
