Strange noise

today when I drove my gsx When I floor it or sometimes rev it the exhaust sounds 10 times louder either that or its the turbo. I have stock turbo and stock exhaust it runs just fine but it also sounds like a supercharger when the turbo is winding down.. any clue ?

So all the sudden it sounds different? And you can't tell the difference between exhaust sound or turbo?

Hmm. I never noticed a turbo making much noise when winding down.

Any recent mods? Oil up to full?

And exhaust sound and turbo are pretty easy to disinguish I thought.

How loud is it? Can you record an MP3 for us?
