airbag?

hi everybody i am new to this forum,
i have been trolling for a few days and am now lost and wondering what the heck are airbags?
i saw the thread about the guy's wife's show car adn then someles talking about them, what are they and what do they do?
i hope i am not jsut lost and they are talkign about the steering whell airbag, but i really dotn think so
cuase if that were so it would be a :xnuts: to my inteligence and my atrocious spelling

Its a suspension, kinda like hydraulics.
Its a bag with air which can be inflated or deflated to raise or lower the car
