OKay, i didn't do the clutch transplant... my mechanic did... i went there after he had it all installed but then he couldn't get it to start... theres power.... when he pushes the clutch it to start, you can hear the fuel pump... he didn't really haven anymore time that day to work on it anymore, and tomarrow starts the weekened.... I was just wondering if anyone of you guys had any ideas. I just want my car back
anyways... my mechanic thinks it might be becaue of the "security system" installed on the car (stock security) and since it was d/ced from the battery for so long something may have been reset... could this be. or is it probably somethin else??? thanks a lot guys!

I know this sounds stupid, and since you've got a 4g63 it might be totally different. After I got my clutch installed, The battery kept getting drained because the battery tie downs were touching the terminals, I went like that for about 2 days jumping my car to start it. And then I just bought a new battery. But all you'd have to do is make sure no metal is touching the battery terminals. Sounds really simple, but that was my problem.

What exactly are the symptoms? hard to just guess everything. As in will it crank but not fire? is it not cranking at all? will it crank and fire and stall right after?

It won't crank over.... All that happeneds is you hear a click (the starter selenoid?).
I went to the shop to check it out, i didn't get a chance to try it as the mechanic was showing me... but there is power, cuz the radio/lights/fuel pump all work.
The mechanic thought that it could be the stock alram system. I was thinking possibly a ground possibly... but i don't know. Hopefully I will find out tomarrow as the mechanic will be working on it tomarrow! Ill keep you guys posted when the problem is solved!

volt test the battery it could be low causing power but not enough to crank thus the click

and the winners are... Anyone who said "check the starter"
turns out that the wire going to the starter was corroded pretty bad. mechanic didn't see it right away b/c he never pulled the lines off of it, and when he pulled it back it must have moved just a little bit causing a bad connection...
replaced the end on the wire and works like a charm! :thumb:
Thanks a lot guys for all the suggestions!
