I use the free software like i said tunestein or something (you know) well i been having A LOT of trouble trying to get a log from my palm to my computer and view it. I still to this day havent been able to do it. Now i spent this money on a palm/cabls/ plus that t016 box thinger and havent been able to really use it. Is there pay software that is better or maybe i should still trying pulling my hair out and keep using it . I guess my guestion is does anyone use it without problems ? how do you transfer the log

I haven't tried transferring any logs to my laptop, but just using palm'n'stein to tune is a monstrous PIA. The rate is so slow I only get maybe 5-6 usable data points w/which to tune accordingly. As far as pay software goes, I'm waiting to see someone's pocketlogger software. I'm thinking about investing in that. I'm sorta in teh same boat as you, I invested in the hardware and everything and it's almost useless.

MMCD doesn't have an application for 2gs. That's only for 1gs.
MMCD is great software though :thumb:

try pocketlogger.com i think its free. you have to register, then they sent you an e-mail on where to download it from the internet. plus they have faqs, tunner stuff, blaa blaa blaa.

I wish. Its like 150 bucks.

If I was starting from fresh. I'd probly go w/pocketlogger. The price is pretty good at $125 and the software has got to be better than Palm'n'stein. You'll still suffer from a slow sampling rate of somewhere around 10-11/sec. But maybe pocketlogger is able to collect more data somehow, cuz w/palm'n'stein I get the same rate and I only get maybe 5-6 data points per pull. So I basically just check to make sure my timing is climbing steadily between all those points, maxing around 20-21 degrees, and roll w/it. I don't trust the short term fuel trims in palm'n'stein either, seeing as how it's pretty much always 0. I KNOW that's not right. My car smells like a gas station rolling down the road so I know I'm pig rich. I think the best thing would be to supplement whatever logger you get w/a wideband. I'm going w/LM-1 probably in a week or two. I think the combo would be pretty sufficient together.
