the four wire plug on the alt, anyone know what each wire is? i mean what i would find if i tested them w/ a voltmeter.

i went out a few nights ago specificaly romp riced integra, no problems there, anyways my wastegate pipe (i have rerouted into the exhuast) came loose and fell onto the alternator harness. it melted the harness and the plug inside the alt. i made a new harness, the alt charged what seemed fine for a few days but now doesnt any ideas? i'm hoping to figure out if there is a problem w/ the harness or not,

thanks for the space!

I believe the plug in the back is to the voltage regulator. Someone correct me if i'm wrong. Your battery will keep constantly charging if this is damaged and can fry your ECU like it just did mine.

yeah it is the voltage reg on the back, i really hope that it hasn't fried my ecu, the car starts and runs fine except for not charging, its parked untill i find another alt or fix the prob, thanks for the help!
