Yes, I am on widsm.org also, along with BrewCityMuscle.com - Milwaukee Car Club and Forums || Domestics, Imports, Late Model, Classics! and BeyondRedline.com :: Index.

As for the making a "cruise" down to the track, I am usually there at least an hour before the gates open, prepping my car. I am not usually able to do much fun stuff beforehand, because of all the time it takes to put the car together for the races itself. I am sure that there are others though, that would like to have a cruise down to the track.

Excellent!

Also, be sure to tell your friends about the event, because it is open to all imports and sport-compact vehicles.

There are quite a few neons, caveliers, scoobies, evos, hondas, nissans, mazdas (old-school rotaries to new ones), foci (focus), VW's, etc competing.

Last season, the Pro Outlaw class (originally called the Import Shootout), pulled some CRAZY times ranging from 7's-9's in the class. There was a red 1971 Mazda R100 running 7.8's with a 170+mph; Toyota Starlets in the 8's; Mazda RX-2, RX-3's running 8's-9's; Ivan "the Terrible"'s KA-powered Nissan 240sx running very low 9's, etc.

Stephanie Eggum also made an appearance in her 7-second Honda Civic and competed too!

The Quick 8 class -- now called the SUPER QUICK class -- had ALOT of cars ranging from 9.9's-12.9's throughout the year. The cars ranged from 9 to 11-second DSM's and GVR4's, low 11-second NA Honda Civics, 10-second turbo Honda's, 10-second VW's, 11-second NA air-cooled VW's, 11-second Dodge Shadow and Shelby Daytona, Mazdas, Mitsubishi Evos, Subaru WRX's, etc.

The AMS guys usually show up in force with several cars for these events and cause quite a stir up in the pits and down the track!

Always a fun group to run with, and always interesting racing because it is a dial-in class, so the races "end" with alot of "close-call" races!

I really look forward to seeing you all come and attend or race in this series!
