I would have used smaller lights or just purchased one of those $60 sets off of ebay and wired my sidemarkers to them, but thats a creative idea.

Light is a lil big but cool none the less.

Oh these puppies only costed me $3.50 (black paint). Dave actually started makinf thses for somebody but never got around finish them. He was gonna trash them so i rescued them from the scrapper. I still have the regular mirror housing so i can swap them back anytime i was to.

i was gonna tape them off to be smaller and paint part of the lens itself but then said screw it the light will probably show thru the paint so i taped it off @ the edge...

Looks like you two did a good job, however I think our stock sidemarker piece does not look good there; it does not flow.

Yeah, they STILL dont make em for 1g's.
I may look into getting something custom made after I put my engine back in. The ones on the luxury cars look really pimp at night.

I don't think they look good at night either. Good work, but on all the time during night it doesn't look right. Maybe wire them to the blinkers, would be a cool idea.

lol they are wired to the blinkers. I got the emergency lights on in that picture and captured the image in the "on" stage of blinking. They only work with conjuction with the turning signal.....
