lowering my car

I have the same car (pretty much) and exact same rims as you do...

My plan is coilovers. Nothing too fancy, just something with a decent adjustment range. Ground control is supposed to be awesome, but they are pricey.

I have a 2nd gen 95 eclipse Rs, with white motegi mr7s. I have ractive coilovers, sprint camber kits, and kyb gr2 struts. I advise you to buy everything at once to make it easy on yourself, with the coilovers they cant adjust the factory camber kits and also with coilovers eventually your factory struts will go bad. just my 2cents

Anything more than 1.75 to 2" and you are going to hurt handling. Anything more than 2.5" or so and you risk scraping. At 3", god help you. :)

I have mine set to be about an 1.5" drop.

They are alright, when they are all the way up i am still lower than a 2 inch drop, which sucks cause i live on a private drive with about 12 other people and its gravel so i risk scrappin my body kit, for the show aspect there nice, i just jack up my car and crank them down as far theyll go

i have the basic ones, i wish i would have gotten the euro coilovers instead

heh, I have coilovers and they're adjusted to STOCK height. actually, stock in the back, half an inch HIGHER than stock up front. I like being able to drive around every day without fear of ripping my front bumper off (even though I still scrape every now and then)
