225-60-16 work on 2g rims fine?

im planning to get some tires will 225-60-16 work on those 2g 5 spoke rims?

They will fit the rims but your speedo will be off big time. You may have other height clearance problems.

im running 225/50/16 they fit and keep the speedo the same

all u guys tried it on a 2g right? i was wonder will it have any problem with my 1g tho. thanks for the replys tho. at least i kno it will work with the rim.

The laws of physics apply equally to 1gs and 2gs. The difference in circumference will mean about a 5 mph difference at 65 mph.
