Does anyone know....Eagle dealer is quoting me 46 bucks a piece...Suspension techniques aren't even that much!!! Thanks

Pretty much, i tried junk yards after a broke one of my rear end links. I finaly broke down and got one from Mistsubishi dealer for 34.99. It sucks but I already had the bigger rear bar to put on.:|

Does anyone know if the Suspension techniques Rear Bar comes with new end links cause I will just get that! Thanks

suspension techniques sway bars only come with the bars and bushings.
dont buy the endlinks from eagle, they will most likely charge you 20 bucks more than a mitsu dealer, i paid 32.90 bucks for both rear endlinks

No the 1G uses a different style link.
MB584467 is the link and MB185476 is the bushings.

The 2G link has two ball joint ends like the front links on 1G AWD's The 1G rear link has one ball joint and the other bolts through the lower control arm with a set of rubber bushings.

At least that's what CAPS is showing me. I didn't run out to the garage to check.

Looking for some 1g rear sway bar end links. Autozone, napa, Murray's, s&q imports, and whatever else you can dish out at me doesn't have them. The dealer does but i will make my own before i pay $45 per sway bar link. Any you 1g owners come across this? There has to be someone who got some after market rear sway bar that can help.

Ok this isn't the first time tonight I've seen that topic title.

You guy's realize you have to type in a name for the topic where it says "Topic name goes here... read red text below" right? :toobad:

yes however even some people that have almost been here a while still got hosed with this rookie crap...

to the poster...
have you thought about making your own?
not hard... bolt, spacer, bushings, nut...
that way you can get them 1/2-3/4" longer and get even more out of them for roll resistance...

 My bad, could of sworn i put on in there.

Yeah, i thought about it as stated in the post but then again that would just be another hassle. Just wondering if anyone got them for a reasonable price anywhere.

Just wondering if anyone has found any other alternatives to factory rear swaybar endlinks for a 1g awd? I've found aftermarket companies selling front endlinks for sway bars much cheaper then Mitsu but I can't seem to find anything for the rears. I'm building another car and the ones on there are shot. I'm just not looking to spend all that money on links. Not trying to be cheap, I've always run Mitsu links but, spending $80 on them is getting old.

I replaced the front and rear sway bar links with 2 Heim joints on each side. They cost about 5.00 each. I also built a rear lower tubular control arm that connects the sway bar with Heim joints. It was not to difficult to install them on the stock lower control arms.I modded the stock arms by mounted 2 1" by 1" angle iron to the bottom of the arm.I then attached the heim joint to it.If you check out my photo gallery it might help.

I'm so glad this topic was moved to newbie forum since it deals specifically with handling. I try searching "rear sway bar end link, rear swaybar end link, rear swaybar endlink" in handling and get, "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms. " why bother having a search fucntion for a specific subforum if I can not search it?

Thanks for the response. I was looking for stock or non stock ways. I figure I should have pmed you since you'r a suspension nut. I was thinking about using heims if it came down to it. I have spare rubber bushings and washers for the endlinks. I'm guessing just to run a bolt up through the lower arm with bushings on each side into the heim. Then another bolt through the heim into the sway bar. What did you use between the sway bar and heim? Guessing a spacer?

Thanks.

I made a mistake on a part # not 175-0423 it should be175-0223

That was the first place I was going to look. I have a speedway catalog around here. I will most likely get a better look at the rear in a few weeks. I'm working front to back on this car. I got your pm as well. Thanks for the help!
