just wondering if anybody has owned these ? or know somebody who did and what kind of experiences they've had with them ?

they are going on a daily driver car. i just want to have an adjustable suspension to lower it then raise it in winter a bit. and might go to a few autox's.

I would buy JICs from RRE. They're rebuildable, have nothing but praise from people that own them, and you can't beat RREs tech support.
If you want for $100 RRE will set them up with custom spring rates and valving adjusted just for your needs as well. John Mueler knows what he is doing.

Does anybody know if JIC is using standard 2.5" springs, or are they like Teins and use their own custom size?

Leon I think they use 2.5" springs, I know RRE sells them with different spring rates than the normal kit.
