Right now I have intrax lowering springs, adj. illuminas, and 18s.
I wanna go w/ 17s and different springs.
Either eibach prokit or h&r sport/race.
So far I don't like the way the car handles with intrax, doesn't
feel the way it should, the rear seems very saggy.
I want better spring setup that would handle better
and that is bit lower so there isn't much gap that's created from
going from 18 to 17.

Also what size tires do you guys run on 17s

My recommendation would be the Sportlines if you don't want wheelgap. I have Illuminas and Sportlines w/ 18s, and the ride would be great if I got a damn camber kit and some bushings, and there is also no wheelgap.

Sportlines will be too low, and will not have enough room for suspension travel. I'd recommend ProKits over the sportlines.

I'd say the Prokit. Thats what I want to uprade to. As for tire size I'm rolling on 235/45/17 Yokahama Avid H4's. I love them. Except I had too put the stock springs back on the rear because on the passenger side it was hitting the tire. Time to roll fenders.

I'd go for the pro-kits or the h&r sport springs.

I'm running 215/45/17 Pirelli p7000 tires. Tires are great, not too thin like the 205s, but enough to fill up the gap, and not have an all tire look.

IMO, Sportlines are too low, but it all depends on where you live i guess. Just, go for the pro-kits or the h&r sport springs like me:)

we got the illumnias and the ground control coilovers (Ebiach springs). I have no idea what its like yet because I just got them Friday (going on next thursday... cant wait LOL, but i talked to a guy with the same setup and he said it was great. He had his setup: shocks- 4 front, 5- rear and the sleeves 2" front and rear. I want to go like 2.25 in the front and 1.75 in the back (for a drop) and try out the shock setting, but I like a stiff ride so i may put them both at 5 depending. Oh by the way, 215/45/17.

nackers went the right route... GC kits are the best and you get to choose your spring rates. Call those guys, they're a big help.

Yeah that was definitly the way to go :thumb: . I put thoes on tonite and of course had to try it out a bit :D . I've got the shocks set at 5 all around and the front is at 2 3/4" and the back is at 2 1/2". There is a very small gap between the tire and the well, but i think it looks so sweet and the ride is stiff (not to stiff) and the car has hardly any roll to it. Hopefully I can get some pics up on my cardomain site soon.

Check it out every so often... I know I will have them up soon :dsm:

*EDIT*
I decided that my assumption on the ride height was a little to high so we put that bit<h to the floor, but quickly brought it up a bit cause I scraped just trying to get it out of the garage (driveway slants slightly down into the flat garage), and even now if I backed out kinda fast I would probably scrape cause we had like 1/8" to 1/4" at the most clearence :D.
