Ok I have been searching and reading aloto n this and I have no clue what to believe..since some pl say that only the N/T GT brakes are applyable to a turbo DSM 1997 and some say that the TT will fit as well..so I am asking you guys...

If I take the brakes from a 3000GT TT 1993 will it fit to my GST Spyder? I have 18"s so the rims are no problem. Will they bolt up to the stock mounting points or not?
If the TT wont work..will the N/T brakes work instead? What pads do this two types of brakes use and what discs will be necessery?

VR-4 brakes will NOT simply bolt onto DSM's, there's a lot of work involved. the NA Stealth/3000GT dual piston calipers will bolt on. they're basically the same as the GSX calipers.

1993 Stealth/3000GT calipers will bolt on to your 2G, but the brake lines are different

Will the N/T 3KGT dual pots bolt up to a 90 GSX?

Why not just get the dual pots from a newer GSX.

I just did the "big brake" upgrade on my 90. Very easy.

well geting brakes from a GSX here is hard sionce we dont have them here..we do however have alotof 3KGTs so I thought I would go that route..I get the calpiers from them at 80$ so....

thoose arn't vr4 brakes, all vr4's came with at least 4 piston and some with 6 but anyways i am working on a project to get a adapter plate made so i can install a set of 4 piston calipers on my 92 tsi with 12 rotors

has anyone done this before??

Who said they were VR4 brakes? He's looking for VR4 Brakes but we're showing him pics of the 2 piston GSX brakes

of course those aren't VR-4 brakes, that's why I wrote that they're GSX dual piston calipers that simply bolt on, and are the same as the Stealth/3000GT and Galant......

and no, I don't think anyone has ever put 12 rotors on a 92TSi:p

I probably found a set of NT 3000GT brakes now for 180$ together.I will go and check them out tomorrow to see that its NT and not TT brakes for sure.If they are ok I will buy them and put them on.Will I have to change my rotors as well or can I stick to the stock ones for now?
How are the install of the NT brakes..are the lines the same or do I need to change that too? I am asking since I dont have the calipers here yet....

you'll have to get the AWD rotors because they are bigger. the stock brake lines will work, but might as well replace them with stainless steel braided ones while you're at it. it's a simple bolt-on process.
