Brake Line Fittings

I am going to be removing my ABS in a few weeks and I have a few questions. I will be bending all of the lines myself and I need to know what fittings to get. I will be using 3/16" line. I need the fittings that go into the proportioning valve and into the rubber lines in each of the wheel wells. Thank you for any help.

Double flares and re-use your fittings, just be sure you put fittings on before you flare lines. Goodluck, you will need flaring tool and small pipe cutter. I like to use a bit of loctite on threads of fittings!

Double flare. I want to say M8x1.0. I was at Auto Zone not too long ago and they sold these in a 5 pack for very cheap. They'll say they are for 3/16" line, but have a metric thread. You can reuse your old fittings if they are not badly rusted. Also part stores have lengths of brake line with metric fittings on them already.

Can anyone verify that these are the correct sized fittings? Every where I have seen that sells fittings sells them in bundles and lists the fittings as fine threads for metric fittings. I want to go with all new fittings also. Post some links if you have them please.

^ actually I think they are M10x1. Just search for brake lines and see the fitting thread

I think I will order this pack of fittings: Nut pack, SAE (double) flare/Asian metric for 3/16? tube (17 pieces):

looks like those are what I need. Can anyone verify? It says they are for double flare and include the longer fittings that will go into the non-ABS prop valve and the shorter fittings that will go into the respective wheel well flex lines. Thanks for the help!!

You can probably just goto your local auto store and pick these up but yeah these appear to be what you need, just wonder what the union would be used for...

I can't figure any use for the union considering the lines are complete from the prop valve to the wheel wells.
