Evo Brembo's on a 1g? With Evo 6 knuckles?

Well as of right now I am in Japan, and I know people use JDM Galant knuckles to run Evo Brembo's on 2g's. So wouldn't it be possible to run a set of Evo brembo's on a 1g using a set of Evo 5 knuckles? Since the 1g's use 130mm mounting tabs for the calipers (like the 2g's) while the Evo's us 160mm. And from looking at pics of the Evo 5 knuckles the mounting tabs for the calipers look a lot bigger then the 1g's.

But since I don't have a 1g I cant be 100% sure, but do these look like they are the same type of knuckles except the larger caliper mounts?

Do these look like 1g knuckles? Do you think they can be used for 1g's to run Evo Calipers?

Lower balljoint setup is different, but look like it would possibly work. Grab me two of those knuckles!!!!!!!!! I see a new mod in the near future.

Oh I see, doing a little more digging around and found these pics of a 1g. I wonder if it would be possible to change lower ball joints to be able to accept the evo knuckles? Do the 1g's have the same hub mounting bolts?

There is forum post on the board of people who have actually mounted Evo brakes on a 2g but the specs are different on the lg so no one has done it.

Yes I have seen the one for the 2g's. I have sold a couple knuckles for the 2g's but since I haven't found anything for the 1g's I thought I would look into it for you guys. Since I thought it couldn't be much different from the older evo's.

What do you want measurements of? I can measure mine up later on and get you some numbers.

those control arms look just about the same size as a 1g arm, cept they're aluminum i think. Have you measured those control arms?

Also the evo knuckles appear to have a bolt on hub, where the 1g's have a press in hub assembly, I'd be really interested in getting a full set of these.. especially if the control arms have similar mounting locations to the subframe

I pretty much ditched this idea since it seems as if you can use the 3kgt vr4 knuckles. As stated by Kittay.

Ditto on this. Super sexy aluminum control arms FTW. That would make the swap really worth it.
