so i got a couple sets of dual piston calipers from the junkyard today...the donor cars were 92-96 diamantes, i am keeping 1 set for my upgrade on my 97 gst and the rest will end up on ebay or here sometime....now to my questions:

1. i didn't salvage any of the factory brake lines from the caliper to the car, can i put my stock 97 lines into the new DPC caliper, or do i need to get ss brake lines, or another oem brake line?

2. when buying brake pads, do i purchase brake pads for a diamante or an awd 2g? i'm guessing the pads are bigger and different from my fwd 2g pads?

3. i have power slot rotors on the front of the car, will this work ok with my new DPC upgrade?

4. should i have the rotors resurfaced, and how much does that usually costs?

5. i'm going to powdercoat the calipers and hubs of the car, what is the best method to freeing the surface of rust and other bad material? aircraft stripper, media blasting, wire brush?

thanks for the help, please be specific and respectful. i will include photos and such when i'm done and try to make a comprehensive how to, or better the ones already created!

1G and 2G calipers have different fittings for the brake lines. I don't remember which "style" the 92-96 Diamante's use.

The 92.5-99 AWD and Diamante's use the same pad.

No, you need to get front rotors for a 92.5 - 99 AWD DSM or Diamante. They are bigger than FWD rotors.

4. should i have the rotors resurfaced, and how much does that usually costs?
