Not sure if this is right place, but I figure it has to be something to do with the handling components. Anyway, when I drive my Talon, FWD, in the it is like it is on rails kinda the rear end will shift from right to left pretty bad. Any ideas on what it be?

Assuming your car is mechanically sound..I'd suggest driving slower and safer under such conditions.
It's the snow, as predictable as we might think it to be (I've driven in snow up to 1' deep on the HWY since I was 16) weird shit still happens when driving in such conditions.
I can't think of a reason for your car to act this way in the snow and not on dry pavement so that leads me to believe there is nothing mechanically wrong with your vehicle unless you can provide more information.

I was only going like 25-30 MPH and now that I think about it, it kinda does it when I hit big patches of tar on the road and more in the rain. I just had new brakes put on and they tightened the bearings in the rear.

Have you checked your alignment lately? When I drove my car before taking it to the alignment shop after putting in my new suspension there were characteristics of that. Dry pavement was ok (besides chewing through tires), but when I hit patches of snow or ice it drove like you are describing.

You might also want to check out your rear suspension bushings.

A wandering tail is a sign of rear toe-out. If the car was lowered without getting an alignment, then you definitely have some rear toe-out, since the rear of a 2G toes out very quickly in compression.

Cool thanks guys I will check into that.

OK so I figure out that both of my rear wheel bearings were going out. I am having them replaced soon, then I will get an alignment.

let us know how that helps you i have/had the same problem in my car for a while and would like to know what would fix it......i also have some shaking and howling sound....i think its wheel bearings...already replaced one

Yeah mine did the same thing. Seems to drive great in the dry, no pulling or anything. Though the rear would hop a bit on good pot-holes. In the snow, the tail was all over the place. Got new tires and an alignment.
