As you may know they send new poly bushings with the bar. It is my understanding that the new bushings are meant for the front bar, correct? My question is can I just use them on the rear bar anyway because my old ones are cracked and dry? Just need to know if they are the same size and everything or if theres anything that would prohibit me from even being able to install them in place of the old ones or any problems that could arise from using them in the rear.

Thanks

Are you talking stock bushings or aftermarket bushings?

The stock front 1g sway bar is pretty thick while the rear is a lot smaller. So I know the stock bushings are obviously a different diamiter from fron to rear. The new bushings that came with the RM bar seem to fit tight around the RM bar so I am guessing the stock front bar is about the same diamiter of the new rear RM bar.

My set for the 2G came with new bushings for the swaybars. The fronts were different than the rears, but I'm not 100% sure if they were different from the OEs I took off. I can only assume they were due to the diameter difference of the bars.

When I got my rm rear swaybar they sent me bushings for both front and rear. The rm rear is the larger of the pair. You will love the way the car handles after your install.

Well I ended up using the poly bushings on the RM bar. Turns out the stock bushings wont even fit around the RM bar because its bigger. DUH. :coy:

So its all installed and it feels great!

Awesome - when am I getting you to go down to Pueblo to really test it out? :)

Soon enough. Actually I really need to upgrade from stock struts at this point. They are driving me crazy. I have been meaning to give you a call or stop by and talk to you about your KYB's to see what your opinions are. Maybe I could get a ride in your car sometime so I can check it out?
