Removing pearchs of blues..

Well I am going to go with tein s-techs on tokico blues. But I read somewhere on here that you had to cut the pearches of the shocks. Is this right?

No.

Lowering springs (almost) always are designed to use stock perches/seats/hats/whatever.

ps. it is when you are switching to coilovers that you often have to remove the perch from the shock

if you cut the perches off, then the spring would just slide down the body of the shock
