i have a 1990 TSi AWD and the stock rims are sportin' uniroyal tiger paws  but i work at a car dealer and they have tires out back that they said i can have a set i want. i found goodyears with about 50% tread on them and the size is 225/60R16.... is that too big or will this be able to fit the rim i am just looking for better tires until i can afford rims and tires let me know because if this works i will pick them up tomm and mount them friday

225/60 is too much, it's about 7%/error over stock, 2% is the diffence recommended, you may push to 3-3.5% but not 7%.

225/50 is about .08% of error.= very good

cool :thumb: thanks guys
