hey guys, i just bout kosei k1's. 17 inch diameter and 7.5 inches wide. i called my local good year shop, and they wanted 307 dollars a tire for all seasons!!! thats insane. i called another place, and they quoted me at 200. jesus, i paid 700 for rims, i can only afford maybe 100 a tire. do i have any options? the car will be driven in the winter, but not during any snow. these prices are insane i cant beleive it

goodyear's are a rip, that company's quality has gone down and they're in big financial trouble.

Check kumho's, affordable tire w/ decent perf. Tirerack.com, Discounttire.com, Whalentire.com to name a few have good prices.

yeah i called edge, and they told me that the toyo proxies are the best bet, and they would fit no problem on my k1's, without messing up the speedo. is this true?

It has nothing to do with the brand but dimesnions of the tire. As long as you get the correctly sized tire for your application.

I picked up my Azenis Sport tires (225/45/17) for a little bit over $110 each earlier this year from Discount Tire.
