Want to get Konis - but no OE to put in?

I want to get Koni Yellows to replace my AGXs, but I know that for 1Gs, they are just inserts - but I don't have OE housings for them to be mounted inside...

What are my options?

I can do that? I thought I needed the OEM ones. If so - then I'll take pleasure in doing it

I'm just assuming that you can. I figured that since they are direct replacements for stock that they should have the same dimensions. Besides, what harm would it cause if you're just going to get rid of the AGX's anyway.

I need to get rid of my agx's and use the Koni's. But that is all I have, the aftermarket AGX's, not oem.

I couldn't find an answer to this question. Instead of starting a new thread, I figuired I would use this one.
My apologies, but what was the eventual conclusion? I have kyb gr-2's and I am getting ready to get Konis for my 1G laser.

The eventual conclusion was - the engine blew, I'm selling the car tomorrow.

That stinks. I was just about to tell you that when I had Konis, they were mounted in AGX housings. Good luck with the sale.

I had KONIS...and they are bad...I bought arospeed "Coil over spring" and on rears dumpers wrench me the houses...Hope you understand...run on "STOP PIN"

Maybe it is SET-UP mystake..maybe it is wrong combination KONIS/Arospeed Coil overs...
Dont know...Only thing I know is that I will use only Coil overs ready for my Car..Not to make my Combination

I think that had a lot more to do with the arospeed coilovers. My Konis did very well when I had them.
