Okay will you guys tell me a good type of lowering springs to get ...I was thinking maybe lowering it 2inches in the front and maybe 1.5inches in the back
how would that look?

We have a suspension forum, I suggest looking through it for a little research.

If you want to go that low with springs I believe the TEIN S tech and eibach sportline will drop you that low.

the eibach sportlines claim to lower the car 1.8 inches (they dont appear to lower it that much), and the tein's claim a 1.5 inch drop. if you really want a full two inch drop, i would highly recommend a set of h&r sports. keep in mind, in lowering a car more than 1 inch, you are very quickly going to blow your struts. if you have the money i would definately recommend a set koni yellow adjustable struts. although expensive, you will save money in the long run from replacing blown struts. from personal experience i would run no other strut. i just got my eclipse, but i ran tokico blues, kyb agx's, and koni's on my prelude. the koni's offer a very smooth ride with confidence inspiring handling.

do your research, and dont jump into anything...good luck.

but what do u think 2 inches in front and 1.5 or 1.8 in the back will look like
and the h&r sport springs 25-30 percent stiffer than stock with a 1.4 to 1.7 inch drop.

it'll look fine, but your ride will be crappy because with a 2 inch drop in front you will have eliminated most of the suspension travel. not to mention that you'll be scraping everywhere on everything. if you must go that low then your best bet would be a full coilover setup.

yes, those are the koni's that i was refering to earlier. also jay, if you are really that interested in a very specific drop, you should look more into adjustable springs like ground control (which have an eibach manufactured spring), or the skunk2 setup. that way you can see what it is like to have the front dropped lower than the back end. if that is the setup you are looking for, and you can handle the ride you will be set. if you cannot handle the ride, wait till payday and purchase a set of koni's to settle your handling out.

once again, dont jump into anything. if it was the case that you bought the ground contols with the koni's, you would already be up to almost $1,000 in suspention bits when you could have bought the tein ss full coilover setup for around $900. look at all your options and then sleep on it. good luck...

im just trying to get some of my wheel gap gone so how low do u guys think I should go

Of course, a Koni/GC set-up (with the right rates) will destroy a TEIN SS set-up in terms of handling, but that's not worth another $100, right?

If you are the guy that just got your car painted I wouldn't go lower than 1.5 or you will scrape all that nice new paint off the front of your car. Even at 1.5 you will have to be very careful. I have Tokico Illuminas and Eibach Pro Kits and I eventually got a chin spoiler to protect my paint.

I have my car lowered about 2 inches, maybe a bit more, and it sucks. You can never not be watching out for potholes or dips in the road. Even interestate(smooth) driving sucks. If I was you I would go for something like the prokits and a good shock absorber. I believe anything else lower than an inch and a half you will regret, but if you don't think so then get some nice coilovers so you can adjust it to what you like.

I've got 2" Sprints on mine (friend "donated" them to me, along with some aftermarket shocks) and I don't have the problems you guys seem to be describing. The front does scrape a little, but not very often actually. (maybe L.A.'s parking lot ramps aren't as big as most?) Ride quality is very smooth, and it handles pretty great to me. Of course, I have the '95-96 front, which is more rounded, so that might be why it's not so bad for me as far as parking lots and such.

heres my 1995 talon ( gsx rims with 3" drop ) ... rides like A$$.
