1993 gsx dual piston calipers brakes upgrade on 2G???

I can buy front brakes from a 1993 gsx i imagine, that has 2 piston calipers, rotors and pads and brackets but willl it be an upgrade for my 2g gst?? I have a 1999

Will 1g gsx brakes fit on a 2g gst? Is it an upgrade?

Are the rotors bigger?

Thanks for the help

Yes. You can use those brakes. Make sure you get everything including the brackets though.

Get some SS brake hoses while you're at it.
