Hey guys so today I was driving back from school, everything was fine and happily boosting 28 psi on 94 pump as i have been with no problems the past few months. Well i park at the bank and all of a sudden my target afrs are reaching max lean and my wb gauge is showing 11.5 and my trims are at like -23% wtf gives? The wb is like 5 months old is it really already time for a change? I'llLet the car cool off and ill start it back up and see if its still funky. Anyone know what the cause might be?

Previous to today i'd have a perfect idle, -+1-2% combind fuel tims while idling and a perfect cruise as well. Now i try and boost and it bogs rich. Nothing on the car has changed today from the 5 mins it was parked to the rest of the way home when it was effed. I will mention its been like 5*F out and snowy. I park underground though at home, outside during school.

I also reset ecu fuel trims via link and was still no change. Ill update again later when i go down stairs.

Started the car this morning and it acted funky on warm up then went back to normal. I'm gonna grab a new wb and pull the ecu sometime just to check on things. Comb ft now is .6% and have a good idle again.

Anyone else experience this?

Alright so i was able to duplicate the issue and i got a log of it. It seems as soon as i change anything in the VE table and save it. The Target AFRs go super lean and it makes the WB go to like 13:1. When i switched back the VE from an old log and it started cycling again. Wtf is up with this i don't understand?? I was only changing the WOT section of the VE table.

Is somethin wrong with the ecu? I'll pullit and check caps.

I just noticed that there is a firmware upgrade. Gonna try that.

Glad to see you fixed your issue. Next time try posting in the correct forum rather than resorting to the Newbie section everytime, you'll more than likely get a few HELPFUL responses by doing so.

The Maintenance forum is a sub-forum to the Newbie section. Newbie Forum - DSM Forums

If you've got the post count then use our Tech Forums, it keeps new members from spamming your thread to get post count and it will help you get the answers you're looking for. Most members that know ECMLink stuff don't even open Newbie forum threads.

Good to hear that just updating firmware fixed this issue, seems like this could have been something that had you chasing your tail for sometime. Hopefully it doesn't come back.
