Ok I went to the dyno yesterday i made 368 whp and 299 with 25 psi and im kinda disapointed with the results... but it was burring out the entire time as well.... ill upload the graph later today

the boost was 25 didnt think that was low for 93 i didnt use race or e85 id run e85 if i could get it. i was just really blah becuase it kept burnniong out on the dyno. thats another reason boost was left where it was. profile is also up to date. the only thing really left thats stock is the igntion system

I know every car is different but my GOOD dsm buddy is running an HX35 to 27psi on 91oct with a STOCK 6-bolt bottom end. I don't know any DSM'r running a 30r but I can tell you that turbo isn't doing a whole lot at 25psi and your actually making a lot of power with that low of boost if you ask me, especially on pump gas.

Who dyno tuned it and did you tell them 25psi or was that what they said you should run?

It was doing what on the dyno? Burning out is what a marathon runner does in a 10k, a car doesn't typically get tired and burn out...

My buddy raif tunned it well a pro tuned and he adjusted it when the setup went into the new car. He had a talon that made over 1000whp and went super low 9s hes got a few threads on here. his evo as made over 700whp the same day we tuned my car how much boost can i run on this turbo? and anyone know what the max it can make is ? also how much boost is ok on 93 octane? i just dont want the car to knock the car runs awsome

I'm not asking about your buddies credentials I was just wondering who tuned it and what made you decide 25psi was the magic number?

From doing some research a GT30R is capable of 500 awhp on the right setup with a good tune. Its rated at 752cfm max airflow or 52 lbs/min and max boost is limited by the size of the compressor wheel at 36psi.

I'm not familiar with AEM EMS but tuning concept remains the same. You've got a built motor with ARP's all around so there is no reason you can't run more than 25psi of boost. If your not knocking running 25psi then keep timing conservative and turn the boost up to 28 and do a pull. Theres a sweet spot in everyones setup when running more boost isn't going to get you any more noticeable horsepower. Your cars weak spot from what I can tell is those dinky injectors your running, if you ever do get that 30R spooling up like its supposed to your IDC's will be over 100% so maybe thats why he kept boost to 25psi. I would think he would have told you why though?

he honnestly said becuase of knock on pump gas he said if we had race gas we were going to turn it up and he said to go past 30 i would ###### need igition and mine is stock....i may have to buy a new boost gauge...honnesly i cant imange this thing with more boost alot more wheel spin LOL i need to convert this thing to awd

That power you made is good for that boost level. I would think you are correct in saying that anymore then 25psi and you will need some different fuel or even some meth injection.
As for not being able to go over 30psi with stock ignition is UNTRUE!! Many of us are doing it so don't worry about that.

Ok heres another question then with meth how much more boost can i run on pump?
