OK I have a broken Right rear axle, it broke just inside the differntial housing, from the manual it looks like the axle is either pinned in or has a C lip to hold it in. Can anyone tell me for sure what holds the axle in at that point. I know I will need to drop the housing and cover just want to make sure I have all the tools necessary???

Thanks in advance

You remove them in the same manner as the front axles. Use a prybar to "pop" the inner cup out. Yes, there is a spring clip that helps retain the coupler. But when you use a prybar it will overcome the spring and the axle will come out.
