after my prev trans was rattling too much i bought a spare and put it in today. the problem is unless i hold the clutch in for about 5 sec before i go into 1st gear it will grind. also if i try to shift into 2nd or 3rd below 3500-4k rpm it will grind. anything high rpm is smooth as butter. just low rpm gives me problems. and only 1-3 gear. i have synchromesh in it now to try to help but it didnt do much helping. the clutch freeplay is set right and its not dragging so i dont know??
