I just got a call from the dealer. The transfer case is good and the rest of the stuff is ok. They said the left rear axel is bad and possible the carrir (SP?) bearing. So does this mean i need a whole new rear end? if so how much am i looking at to buy one?

A decent 3 bolt ( if you want ot waste your time putting another 3 bolt back in) will run roughly $150-300 depending on condition. I would recommend to do a 4 bolt swap which will cost between $250-500 depending on condition. Check your local junkyards first, if they don't have one then start looking on www.dsmtrader.com for one. Try for local cause the rear is heavy and most people won't ship them..............
