I have 92 Tsi awd and on a couple of different occasions I have heard a loud squealing coming from the rear of the car when I'm turning left from a stop. I haven't had the chance myself to check it out so I was wondering if anyone could give some clues as to what is causing that noise.

bearings on the right rear side of the car need replacing... try the outer bearings first but keep in mind that it may be the right carrier bearing in the dif...

Check the fluid level in your diff! Change to Redline Super Heavyweight it tends to quiet things down if not eliminate the noise all together. :D

it could be a multitude of things from a stuck e-brake cable to bearings. you won't know for sure until it gets looked at.

Thanks for all the suggestions I'll try them all and see what I find out and let you know. :thumb:
