Just wondering if it will fit. Looking to buy a 2G quaife FWD LSD but was wondering if it fit in my 93 FWD tranny.

They seem to be both 27spline so it should work , but the real issue, is will it fit in the tranny casing?

thanks

If I remember correctly, it won't fit.

I was in a similar situation about a year ago when I was looking at a Quaife diff for my 91fwd. However the diff was for a 2g. The difference is that early 1g fwd trannies (90-92) have smaller diameter axles than 93 and later years.

I called Quaife and he told me that no, the larger diameter diffs will not physically fit in my early tranny.

Your case is a little different, b/c you have a late 1g trans that has the larger diamater axles so I'm not sure.

You should give Quiafe a call and explain them the situation.

Best regards, Dan.

I have the choice, I have 2 90-92 FWD tranny (25spline) and 2 93+ (27 spline)

So if its only because they use 27 spline i'll just use one of my late 1G tranny , thanks

BTW: its a karking LSD im buying, any good comment?
