Best FWD Tranny??? TRE or Shep

Im looking to build a FWD tranny for my car.

What ones look better for race use?

Im new when it comes to Tranny stuff and just needed a helping hand to see what tranny will be best for the doller/over-all

You can't go wrong with either.

Shep built my FWD tranny a few years back, and I never had an issue with it. I would defintely recommend you opt for the LSD though. Some of the most noticable improvements came from using my Quaife.

And I'll be dropping off my AWD tranny to TRE within the next couple weeks.

Paul is exactly correct. Both have great services and have proven to be great. Call each of them and see who can get what you need in a time frame that works for you.

I have a Stage II TRE about to go in when I get my 6-bolt swap done. It's sitting in my room along with my ACT 2100 + XACT Streetlite Flywheel, so I'll let you know how it works out.
