I don't want to use the front insert that comes with the kit for several reasons. I've seen one or two people mention the possibility of using the prothane for the rear, which is a complete replacement, in the front instead of the insert. Has anybody done this? I'd like to make sure this would actually work before buying the extra mount.

Also, some of the old vfaqs on the prothane install tell you to keep track of the engine position, that the prothanes have to go in a certain way or the engine position will change. It looked like the older mounts had slightly offset holes and it doesn't look like the mounts on sale now have the offset. Is this still a problem or can I just slap them in without worrying about it?

i havnt had a problem i just slapped mine in...you will definitly be able to tell the diffrence.. hope your use to the steering wheel shaking... :)

as for the back fitting in the front..it will work
