problems going into gear

Alright this started saturday. Before the prob the car would just fall into gear like butter. I was driving down the highway and I get on the off ramp push the clutch in and as I come to the light I go for second and it just grinds. Im like wtf so I keep trying to drive and now its getting hella hard to put into first gear. I take the car to a friends and park it and when I return to take it home I try to put it in reverse. No luck locked out. Turn the car off and put in reverse. Start back up and go down driveway, I get to the road and I try to take it out of reverse. Its locked in. I had to use almost all my strength to get it out. Pops out, sweet lets try first. Hmm well trying for first for 30 seconds in the middle of the road is no fun. Turn off the car and put it in first. Start it up and it makes a terrible noise. (like fingers going down a guitar string).

Now to the point. My car is way to hard to shift. It wont go into first at a light without giving it all I have to push it in. It shifts hard going into second. 3-5 are notchy. Reverse is a hope and dream. I checked the fluid level its good. I adjusted the pedal didn't work. I had my dad push in the clutch and watched the slave it moves but I am not sure how far it should move. I have been told to see if the tranny is seperating from the block. I checked the top bolts they are tight.

Any ideas or suggestions before I pull the tranny would be helpful. thanks guys.

well turns out bolts like to come off going down the road. Lost the tranny to motor bolt right above the slave cylinder.
