i was told by many different ppl that a lightweight flywheel is bad for a turbo FWD. reason being that it revs too quick and u will spin like no other.

is this true?

I have a Act XACT streetlite flywheel on mine with a Act 2100lb clutch and yes it does rev up and drop down very quickly. It hasn't harmed anything, it just takes a lot of time to get used to in traffic. I can't see anything wrong with it, I didn't get the Prolite flywheel just because I felt that the streetlite was light enough for me.

when u say getting used to in traffic, what do u mean?

anyother ppl's out put about this?

he's probaby talking about driving it in daily traffic with lots of cars around. and i had one on my old car and yes it likes to rev

For a daily driver, I wouldn't recomend it. The benefits don't out weigh the rev down stalling and high RPM start off. You also have to keep the RPM's up or the car bogs really easily.
