Will the stock 1g pressure plate work with an ACT 2600 install or do i need to invest in an ACT pressure plate?

Thanks

OOPS, sorry, i had some wires crossed, a friend told me they had the whole clutch asmbly (ive broken my clutch fork and im going to replace the clutch while im at it incl. the throw out bearing). turns out he only had the disc from act. one of their street performance discs. and no PP so, i guess my real question is this (and now it sounds a little dumb) will the street performance disc MBSD010S work with the stock pressure plate. im sure the answer is yes. but just in case. thanks.

The ACT2600 IS the pressure plate, are you talking about the clutch disk? Yes it'll work with your stock pressure plate but if you already got it apart then you might as well replace the complete clutch including throw out bearing.

the 2600 plate is the heart of the clutch  ..................you want the extra pressure(clamping force). stock don't have much.

Yeah...you'll launch it once, then twice and she will be done. Now, you can use a stock DISC (people prefer the 2G disc) with the ACT 2600 PP. Some people swear by that combo.
